Not a huge fan of mashups, but Chip Ivory have won us over releasing polished mixes from today’s new releases combined with a hint of old school. Listen below to A-Trak & Dillon Francis “Money Makin'” with the hip/hop classic from Ludacris’ “Money Maker”. I am so glad they did not add Aloe Blacc’s “I Need A Dollar” because that would have just been overkill.
I guess it was just inevitable. Ellie Goulding released a cover of the Weeknd’s ‘High For This’ last week and naturally, a mash up with Kanye West’s “Get em High” would soon have to follow. Chip Ivory takes the two into a well crafted fusion, enabling Ellie Gouldings vocals to come through as well as featuring verses from Kanye’s original.
