Colorado native Riley Keating a.k.a R3K has created an unbelievable mashup called “Falling Star”. He replaces Dan Black’s vocals from “Symphonies” with verses from Florence and The Machine’s “Cosmic Love”, and it is flawless. “Symphonies” was one of Kudi’s biggest tracks, and this version may even be better.

Lately, I’ve been completely enamored with Florence Welch, better known as Florence and the Machine. I’d always liked her, but never realized what a great talent she was. That was until I heard “Cosmic Love” and saw the video for it (which, might I add, should win some sort of lighting award). Then I knew she just had pure, raw talent. I wanted to share that song with the Music Ninja crowd, but I knew it just didn’t feel right. Luckily, I came across this excellent remix by P.E.S.T, which I think will fit in perfectly over here. Even though this remix has a nice dance beat, it still highlights Florence’s beaming vocals. It’s a crime that I didn’t recognize her talents in time to make it a point to see her Coachella performance, I hear it was one for the ages. Keep an eye on this one. Even though she’s pretty big already, I think she could reach superstar status in the future.
