Over the years, we’ve all gotten used to the association between industrial rock and electronica music. Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, and NIN were obviously masters of their craft, but stayed closer to the rock side of this genre. With the huge surge of electronica music over the past 10 years, we’ve seen a lot of DJs take this angle with their music. Lately you’ve seen people like Celldweller and Zardonic get increasingly more popular, and this artist will definitely follow suit.

Gtronic recently released Sergeant Bass on Steve Aoki’s ever growing Dim Mak records. The Belgian based producer has a dark, gritty, and industrial sounding electro style. While it can be a little intimidating at times, it will start to grow on you. The title track of the EP, Sergeant Bass (Vocal Mix) blends a drawn out build up, a distorted guitar riff, and an eerie vocals to comprise a banging tune. Just don’t listen to it alone.

Sergeant Bass is now available for purchase. Go out and pick up a copy.
