Garden City Movement
Pont des Arts

We had the opportunity to speak with this intriguing electronic act a while back, and since then we’ve been consistently enamored with what they’re able to create. While it has been a little while since this Tel Aviv-based trio has graced our walls, we sure are glad they’re back.

Taking their name from a turn of the century urban planning method set out by Sir Ebenezer Howard, Garden City Movement’s sound has an architectural feel to it, expertly building on itself as the song progresses. This latest release has a much dancier feel in comparison to one of our favs, “Lir,” which continues displays the groups breadth of talent. Even though we’re offered up a different look than usual, we’re still given a glimpse of their signature distorted vocals and coupling of that glitchy-yet-melodic balance they pull off with ease.

“Pont Des Arts” quickly became a fan-favorite during their live shows, which led them to properly record and release it publicly. So, if you were one of those fans – thank you. We all appreciate you helping this come to fruition.
