A few years ago, we introduced to our pages a gifted young up and comer by the name of Brandon Rowan aka Birocratic. We mentioned him as someone to keep your eyes on in the chill/electronic music scene, and since that time the New York based beatsmith has grown tremendously as a musician, culminating with the release of his sensational beets 3 compilation this past May. Today, we’re excited to bring you the latest testament to Brandon’s talents as we premiere his remix of indie pop duo Glassio‘s “Try Much Harder”. Though nearly unrecognizable from its source material, Biro’s rendition is equally as catchy. Gone are the hazy, laidback vibes of the original, replaced with chopped up vocals and uplifting synths. It’s the type of tune that’ll stick with you after just one listen, and we have a good feeling that it’ll make its way into your weekend rotation.
