The beautifully crafted sounds of Sound Remedy are back. “Killing Switch” is another reason why 2012 was so great. Its laid back and relaxed vocals echoed calm and summer days of jazzy melodies by Stockholm indie band Last Lynx. While the original pulled many influences including both modern electro pop and 60’s organic pop, Sound Remedy’s rendition does much of the same but substituting it with elements of dubstep and trap.
This remix is all about bright and colorful sounds, dynamic bridges and experimentation, something Sound Remedy knows to well. The trap tease at the very end is just another sign of the maturity from this Los Angeles producer.
