Max Rowat (aka Coven) is a young UK based producer who recently uploaded this deeply provocative dubstep remix of the popular electro pop hit ‘Missing’ by famous British duo Everything but the Girl. From the very beginning the curious and flirtatious vocals are left wondering alone through this dark and orphic fog of subtle electronic glitches… unaware of the danger that lies ahead. A haunting dubstep bass, inviting at first, suddenly becomes visible closing in ever so slowly at the expense of Tracey Thorn vocals. Ultimately, the entire experience leads to a clusterfuck between voice and machine, leaving you with the remains of what appears to be the fusion of two willing bodies.. or merely the traces of a crime scene.
