Up and coming Jersey producer Ravi B is living two lives, and killing it at both. This current Rutgers student is knee deep in textbooks during the day, and at night, he’s switching it up for a laptop and some headphones.
In his latest release, he’s taken on one of Colorado based pop outfit OneRepublic most popular tunes, “Counting Stars.” With a heavy focus on a drum line style build up (think Thomas Gold), the tune carries into a real dance floor pleaser, rife with a gorgeous melody and unfettered vocal samples from frontman Ryan Tedder.
