[NEW] Sleigh Bells – You Don’t Get Me Twice

Sleigh Bells
You Don't Get Me Twice

Loud, brash, abrasive, yet ultimately sweet. That’s what you’d expect from a Sleigh Bells production, and the pair don’t disappoint with their brand new single, “You Don’t Get Me Twice.” Utter chaos is abound, as screeching guitars and thumping percussion lead the charge on this ice cold breakup anthem. Check out the track above, and prepare yourself for the pair’s upcoming third studio album, Bitter Rivals, in stores October 8th.

[Hip-Hop] iSH – Demons (THR3MIX) Feat. e-dubble

If any indie release of the last year was primed for a rap remix, it was Sleigh Bells‘ “Demons.” With blaring drums, explosive guitar riffs, and fervent hollering throughout, it would take a powerful emcee to match the feverish intensity of the original track. Well, we think we’ve finally found a good candidate on our hands in Toronto’s own, iSH. Opting to go with the slightly more subtle Diplo remix of the song, iSH and Philly’s e-dubble manage to complete the tough task of absolutely tearing this beat to shreds. Plus, any time you can talk trash about your wookie is truly a win in my book.

This release is the just the first in an excellent series of “THR3MIXES” by iSH.  Catch the full set below, along with some free download links.

Sleigh Bells – End of the Line (Official Video)

Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller, the dynamic duo that make up Sleigh Bells, have released a new video for their song “End of the Line”. Directed by Miller and Gregory Kohn, the wistful tune is accompanied by fun BMX bike rides in suburbia and creepy shots of a vampire-looking Krauss out in the fields. The two scenes don’t necessarily go together, but the band know how to meld seemingly contrasting qualities pretty well (see: their entire discography). Feel free to stream the track below, too.

Sleigh Bells’ second album, Reign of Terror, is out now via Mom+Pop.

Indie band Sleigh Bells have been causing uproar with teasers from their upcoming release Reign Of Terror. The new album, set for release February 21st from Mom + Pop records is now being streamed in its entirety via New York Times.

The album is an energetic work of indie pop that continues the bands already established sound. The first video for the album’s single “Comeback Kid” snapshots the albums sound almost perfectly with its leather jackets, guns, and generally bad attitude. It’s pretty catchy, too. Check it out!
