[Electronic] Seven Lions, Myon & Shane 54, and Tove Lo – Strangers (Synchronice Cover)

Synchronice
Strangers (Synchronice Cover)

Synchronice have prided themselves on their own definition of “melodic” for some time now, and they recently decided to tackle a Seven Lions tune, which is certainly is a tall order. Spoiler alert: They nailed it. Instead of opting for simply remixing the track, they re-established the tone of the song in their own terms, fleshing out the production with their own vocals and even a slight bit of guitar work in the intro.

The influence Seven Lions has on their music is reflected throughout their previous releases, and seeing that inspiration come full circle into a cover of this magnitude is not only a testament to Seven Lions, but also proof of Synchronice’s capability of doing the original tune justice while also transforming it into something fresh and celestial. There is no limit to their remix chops, as shown from their infectious rendition of Oh Wonder’s “Dazzle,” and this cover continues the trend as they prepare their upcoming EP. Modulation – The Shire (Synchronice Remix)

Modulation
The Shire (Synchronice Remix)

There is something about the younger generation of musical artists these days, they have a drive to do more, a desire to make amazing music and a certain hustle. The boys of Synchronice are no exception they are a direct definition of hustlers. Their latest song to hit the airwaves is a remix of Modulation’s “The Shire”, a catchy tune with up and down beats making for a reach your hands to the sky song. Synchronice puts their own spin on the song, incorporating some echoes and a repeating bundle of drum beats before letting all music take loose at 1:29. The boys keep a light feel throughout the song though, mixing a chorus of vocals in with hard hitting drum beats and electric chords. This song just is another example of how big these two brothers are becoming and this year they keep that young musical artist blood on a hustle level.
