[Hip-Hop] Game – Jesus Piece Feat. Kanye West & Common (Prod. Boi-1da & The Maven Boys)

West Coast and Midwest collide as Compton rapper Game recruits Chicago natives Common and Kanye West for the title track for his upcoming album, Jesus Piece. As the most anticipated single from the record, it’s somewhat disappointing to see Kanye solely handling the hook, but Common’s verse alone makes the song worth a listen. “Jesus Piece” provides Game and Com time to reflect on their careers and their roles in the game over some spectacular production courtesy of Boi-1da and The Maven Boys. Game’s fifth studio album is shaping up to be a solid one, so make sure you give it a listen when it drops next Tuesday.

[Hip-Hop] Rihanna – Diamond (Remix) (ft. Kanye West)

Rihanna churns out chart-toppers at a pretty absurd rate. Her latest hit single, “Diamonds,” departs slightly from her usual sound with out losing its mainstream appeal. Today, Kanye West dropped this remix adding some raps to the first half of the song. As usual, Yeezy is on point with his raw, confident flow spitting lines that really only he can pull off. Peep below and, if you’re feeling it, grab it on iTunes.

Kanye West – White Dress (Alternate Version)

After the successful released Tarantino and RZA film Man with the Iron Fist and acclaimed soundtrack, the GOOD Music emcee Kanye West releases an extended, alternate version to the movie’s single “White Dress”. This romantic RZA and Tru of the Wu-Tang affiliated soul group Stone Mecca doesn’t stray too far from the original version but offers a polished, more soulful vibe without taking away from Kanye’s well delivered bars. Similar to Ghostface‘s “Wildflower” or “Icecream”, this track offers a nostalgic feel coupled with a beautiful piano line, chill drum chords, and jazzy guitar rip towards the end.

[HIp-Hop] Pusha T – Pain ft. Future (Prod. Kanye West)

Shortly after the release of Cruel Summer, G.O.O.D. Music emcee Pusha T drops an impromptu new single, titled “Pain”. The Kanye West produced track is a creatively gritty single mixing heavy bass, maraca rips, gunshot echoes and background vocals cultivating a dark vibe. As expected, the Bronx rapper does this tough beat justice by delivering some dope lines throughout his lyrically witty verses.

With lines like “18 wheeler gorillas/ black with gold chains/pitch bird like the steelers/hines ward of the crime lords/running through this money screaming encore,” Pusha T maintains his street persona that is then softened by the auto-tuned hook from the ATL emcee Future. This track is nothing less than a certified banger with a cold beat that is just in time for “hoodie weather” season. Although it is not clear whether this will be on Pusha’s long awaited debut solo studio album or the rumored Cruel Winter compilation LP, you should still enjoy the track below.
