[Remix] Dej Loaf – Try Me (Feat. Jeezy & T.I.)

Dej Loaf
Try Me Official Remix ft Jeezy & T.I.

In a year that saw the emergence of internet rap stars like Young Thug, iLoveMakonnen and Bobby Shmurda, Dej Loaf‘s “Try Me” is still one of the more surprising hits we’ve come across. The Detroit native’s marquee single is oddly addicting, though we never imagined it would take off like it did. After getting that chorus glued in our minds for nearly the entire latter half of 2014 though, it’s no mystery why a bevy of emcees have tried their hands at remixing the track. The latest two rappers to step up to the plate are Southern royalty, as Jeezy and T.I. lend their talents to the latest iteration of the tune. Both emcees come correct with their verses, shaping a supreme remix that’s poised to take this hit further up the charts.

[NEW] Jeezy & Jay Z – Seen It All (Prod. Cardo)

Jeezy & Jay-Z
Seen It All

When you’ve been in the game as long as Jeezy and Jay Z have, chances are you’ve already “Seen It All.” Despite their differing styles, Jeezy and Hov have always shared an undeniable chemistry together, and throughout the years have often challenged each other to stay on their toes as they rip through each record. This song is no different, finding the talented emcees in peak form as they trade eloquent bars about their street upbringing over some banging Cardo production. Originally recorded during the sessions for Magna Carta Holy Grail, the single finds a new home as the title track off of Jeezy’s upcoming fifth studio album, set to drop on September 2nd.

Young Jeezy & Kendrick Lamar – Westside, Right On Time (Urban Noize Remix)

Another day, another dope single that Westcoast emcee Kendrick Lamar lyrical dominates. On this remix, the South Florida duo Urban Noize remixes the Canei Finch track. Adding in some horn sample cuts and head-nod worthy drums to the beat, the duo compliments the track well. Young Jeezy comes through to drop off a quick street-inspired verse over the throwback vibe and still does the track justice. Still feel like both the original and remix could use a guest verse from Bun B. but this is a solid remix that still keeps the old school rhythm of the original. Take a listen below.

[Hip-Hop] Young Jeezy – R.I.P. (Remix) (Feat. YG, Kendrick Lamar & Chris Brown)

Young Jeezy
R.I.P. (Remix) Feat. Kendrick Lamar, YG & Chris Brown

Kendrick Lamar is officially the most popular kid on the block. Everywhere you turn, it seems like somebody is recruiting K. Dot for a spot on their newest single or remix. With that being said, it’s no surprise that Young Jeezy turned to the “Hottest MC In The Game” to replace 2 Chainz on the remix for his hot new single. What may surprise you is what other cohorts were invited to the party. Joining Kendrick on the remix are YG and Chris Brown. While Kendrick definitely bodies the beat, Chris Brown does nothing more than rattle a few cages, taking some shots at Drake and Frank Ocean. Regardless, you should definitely expect to hear this version of the track everywhere over the next few months, especially with summer right around the corner.

[NEW] Rihanna – Pour It Up (Remix) (Feat. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I.)

Rihanna
Pour It Up Remix (Feat. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I.)

After dominating the radiowaves with her single “Pour It Up” over the last few months, Rihanna decided it was finally time for a little remix action. Well, little probably isn’t the proper term, as this one features some heavyweights (that’s not a shot at the MMG Boss). Taking the strip club anthem to the next level, we now have the likes of Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J and T.I. all describing the typical ways they like to blow their money. Ignoring the ensuing awkwardness that is sure to occur when Jeezy and Ross find out they’re on the same track together, this is a pretty great remix that definitely accomplishes its goals of making you want to spend your stacks. You know you’re definitely bound to hear this one everywhere in the upcoming weeks.
