[Electronic] HONNE- Didn’t I

HONNE
Didn't I

More affectionate music from Honne as they cover ‘Didn’t I’ by Darondo. Once again their signature sound puts us in a floating and free state of mind. We’ve watched them grow from the roots up with electric singles and cinematic visuals, but now the duo is less than a month away from releasing their Coastal Love EP, expected May 4th on Tatemae Recordings. The build up and delivery of this new music will provide much needed momentum for their upcoming UK shows and eventual migration over to the US. As we begin to turn the corner towards the latter half of 2015, I feel that Honne has the capability to really own it. Pre-order the Coastal Love EP now.

GOLDHOUSE
When I Come Home

GOLDHOUSE just turned three (3) years old last month. The multi-talented Los Angeles resident has seen major growth over the last few seasons with successful remixes, including a crisp rendition of ‘Dreams‘ from Fleetwood Mac. New single ‘When I Come Home’ is his first original release in a while and it truly embodies that feeling of going back to where you originally came from. GOLDHOUSE must have returned back to Chicago just before writing this to channel the energy he needed. It’s a record that we shall celebrate our victories with. Let’s see what’s next.

Prints

Gosh Pith finally defrosted their equipment after a neighbor left a ‘Window‘ open for too long! The duo unites us with a brand new single entitled ‘Prints’. Written after taking shrooms and running out of gas, 69 remained cool and honored each other to deliver this sexy tune. It exposes the temper of the frigid times in Detroit and also reminds us of our greatest desires. With already three successful releases under their belt, this may be the final single from Gosh Pith before we receive their debut EP. They racked up a healthy amount of miles this past January, playing 12 shows, all while working day jobs and recording new music to stay balanced. Premiered over at NYLON, ‘Prints’ is sure to swirl.

waka flocka
o let's do it (oshi & lege kale remix)

What happens when a teenager from London and an all around nice guy from Columbus put their brains together? Pure genius. OshiLege Kale team up for a delightful remix of ‘O Let’s Do It’, a substantial Hip-Hop record originally released in 2009 on Waka Flocka Flame’s debut album, Flockaveli. With their shining purification of the original production, we now have enough head space to make room for this once over-played chorus again. It feels amazing. Great samples and progression by this duo. One of the more vibrant tunes to hit the web in 2015.
