THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME! As P&P describe it its stylish, colorful, dynamic and full of vivid imagery. The video is the complete opposite to what every other hip/hop artist has been pushing out for the last couple of months. I have always enjoyed listening to Hip/Hop but when it comes to making videos, only a few actually try to be different and Big Boi definitely stands out.

Asher Roth is the kind of artist a lot of people feel very differently about. I for one like the kid. I can’t say I’ve listen to every single song he has done. Actually 30 minutes before even writing this, I couldn’t have said I had listened to anything else other than ‘I Love College’ from his 2009 album Asleep In The Bread Aisle. But nonetheless, I think Roth shows promise as being an upcoming force in the competitive hip/hop game of today. His genuine love for the craft is transparent in his music and the fact that he doesn’t keep rapping about how good his rhymes are compared to some other bitch, is always a plus. While I am not too thrilled about the mellow ‘Muddy Swim Trunks’ from his new mixtape ‘Seared Foie Gras with Quince and Cranberry’, I find his flow and the subject of his lyrics refreshing. Whats so great about this video? Its exactly what I pictured in my head the first time I listen to Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The give intake between the vocals, the whistles, the subtle electronic melodies and playful thumping drums create a warm atmosphere, a place that while it may not look like it, does feel like home. According to the band, “this video for Home is a collection of some of our favorite memories over the past few years.”
