Justin Bieber – All That Matters (LUCA LUSH Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Justin Bieber
All That Matters (LUCA LUSH Remix)

We realize we’re probably starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to LUCA LUSH, but the remixes keep arriving, and they continue to deliver fantastic results. The latest operation under LL’s supervision is Justin Bieber’s “All That Matters,” and this one is yet another doozy. This remix is almost two songs is one, as the first drop is is a gated futuristic affair with booming bass drums and shimmering synths, while the second goes one deeper and dives headfirst into a plunging garage/deep rhythm. There’s no telling where a LUCA LUSH tune is truly capable of going, and his versatility shines through yet again as he rises through the ranks on each and every release. Drake
Just Hold On We're Going Home (LUCA LUSH Remix ft. Kim Vallido)

There’s no telling what LUCA LUSH is going to do next. A good Drake remix is always welcome, and he has supplied exactly that. The main single from Nothing Was The Same only gets flipped by LUCA LUSH, but covered by the breezy vocal prowess of Kim Vallido, who holds down her duties with ease.

Shedding the almost slow house feel of the original, this rendition opts for more of a spacey, hip-hop approach. The synths twinkle and growl while the drums bring some bite through the low end, resulting in a textbook LUCA LUSH flip. We’re no stranger to his remixing capabilities, and the use of a vocalist provided yet another tool that he has proven he can master. Grab the download via ToneDen below:

Oh Wonder
Body Gold (LUCA LUSH Remix)

LUCA LUSH is back with another crazy flip, and he’s taken on one of the most exciting new groups to debut from last year, Oh Wonder. The alaya member has become comfortable with his high energy remixes, and he really has juiced up Oh Wonder in a fun and futuristic fashion. Hopping from deep house style basses to sweltering nu disco synths, this remix never sits stagnant for a moment. He also preserved just the right amount of vocals to bring a little emotion into the club like he has done so well previously. On a different but equally exciting note, we’ve caught wind that he has a tune coming up with Dirty Chocolate to be released on alaya in the near future, so enjoy this phenomenal flip in the mean time and keeps your eyes peeled for that new collaboration! PROMISE

Bust out of your hump day funk with some LUCA LUSH because he just hopped into overdrive with this fresh Ciara inspired tune. The master of everything lush takes the house approach for his latest endeavor and scorches through your speakers with his high octane production style yet again. He goes one deeper with sweltering basses, pitched down Ciara vocals, and bouncy stabs that coalesce into one of our favorite tunes of his to date.

There are no boundaries for LUCA LUSH. He has never hesitated to hop from future bass, to jersey club, and now house. Considering his work with other impressive producers such as Josh Pan and Dirty Chocolate, he’s a fan of expanding horizons and making exactly what he feels. Also, his involvement with alaya shouldn’t be missed. He’s been a part of their Special Friends series and has a tune locked up for their upcoming second compilation, due out sometime near Valentine’s Day. If you enjoyed Promise, be sure to keep your eyes for his next releases through alaya and more!

One More Time (LUCA LUSH Remix)

Soundcloud, even with its quirks, bugs and uncertainties, remains an amazing tool for music discovery from both a fan and artist perspective. Over the last couple years, a number of collectives have done a particularly good job curating like-minded artists via SC allowing listeners further opportunity to find producers similar to ones they already know and love. The alaya collective is a perfect example of one such taste-maker introducing us to some of our favorite new artists in the future R&B and chill-bass realm over the last year.

Today, we’re excited to be premiering a new track from New York-based, alaya-affiliated producer Luca Lush, who has been killing the Soundcloud game recently. Before you jump to conclusions about his decision to take on Daft Punk, keep in mind that Luca has already remixed classics like “Let’s Get It On” and “In Da Club” recently with marvelously creative results. His take on “One More Time” is no different as he allows the original vocals to progress over a radiant backdrop before bridging into a glitchy break and finally breaking down completely into an addicting piano melody. By the 2-minute mark Luca has taken full control injecting his unique feels for a truly dynamic, triumphant closing. Grab a free download here and, if you like what you hear, make sure to follow Luca Lush and alaya, who’ve got a new compilation on the way, on Soundcloud at those links.

P.S. If you haven’t heard it already, make sure to check out Luca Lush’s addicting collaboration with Feki, “Club Love,” one of my personal favorites.
