[Future/Electro-House] Lil Jon – Get Low (PatrickReza Remix)

Lil Jon
Get Low (PatrickReza Remix) (Free Download)

Don’t sit there and say you don’t the words to “Get Low.” Whether we like to admit it or not, it’s a Lil Jon standard, and Patrick Reza just unapologetically brought it back into 2015 as a bone crushing house rendition. The raspy vocals of Lil Jon and Ying Yang Twins are right at home with the rage worthy lasers and festival ready production, especially considering Lil Jon’s recent work with DJ Snake that we are all too familiar with. Patrick has been on a roll with these last two reimaginations of hip-hop tunes, and this revamped version of “Get Low” is hump day remedy that you need to jump back into the right gear and finish up your week strong. [Future] Robokid – Luv Me Harder

ROBOKID
Luv Me Harder

Moving Castle member Robokid just offered up a delightfully delicate track via Nest HQ in the form of a “Love Me Harder” remix. He takes the Ariana Grande and Weeknd tune into the stratosphere by shooting it into hyper speed with pitched up vocals, textbook breaks, and ethereal synths that have become staples within his forward thinking production style. It’s always exciting when a new Moving Castle release is finally available for our anxious eardrums, and Robokid has defined himself as a prominent member of the collective. “Luv Me Harder” sustains his strong push into expanded popularity within the online realm and beyond, which begs the question (concerning his consistent nature): Is he human or is he robot? Either way, we are big fans of what he has accomplished. Snag the free download via ToneDen!

Cash Cash – Surrender (Club Killers Trap Remix) [TMN PREMIERE]

Cash Cash
Surrender (Club Killers Trap Remix)

Club Killers claim to be from Sin City, but we have an overwhelming feeling they’re hailing from the Aloha state. Why’s that you ask? Because Hawaii’s area code is 808, and this collective of bass heads are all about those 808s.

Ok, that was pretty cheesy, but we really couldn’t help ourselves. Now that we have our awkward intro out of the way, we can get to what really matters – this top-notch remix. Taking the glowing, progressive and quite legendary tune from New York-based Cash Cash, Club Killers have sampled out the uplifting vocals and blended them in seamlessly with a melodic trap anthem. It’s bass heavy, yet still maintains the inspiring aura of the original.

No strangers to success, these cats have racked up plays on plays on plays, seeing some tracks in the millions on soundcloud. With one listen through to their interpretation of “Surrender,” we’re sure you’ll figure out why that’s been happening.

This tune is an official remix, out today via Big Beat/Atlantic Records. Aside from finding it there, we’re pretty sure you’ll hear it at Ultra, EDC, Coachella, and every other festival, club, and sub-laden vehicle out there.

[Chill] Daughter – Youth (Izzard Remix)

Daughter
Youth (Izzard Remix)

The warm weather is finally creeping back in. You actually find time to sit down outdoors and soak in the world around you. The nights are short, but temperate and beautiful. When you gaze into the vast expanse, you may see stars, you may not, but they are there and always shining. Even the infinite darkness that is space, there are insurmountable pieces of awe inspiring sights. If there ever was a soundtrack to complement this experience, one of the ideal tunes to explore this with would be Izzard‘s transformative take on the essential Daughter track, “Youth.”

A slow, droning build constructs the foundation for the song, augmenting a gentle guitar melody into an electronic, shape shifting dream. The entire three and half minutes is dripping with emotive elements, juggling them among senses of wonder and hope, along with uncertainty and gloom. There is plenty to draw from this tune, and it sets up a means to enjoy our surroundings in a peaceful manner. Izzard finds grace within simplicity. Sometimes that is all we really need. Don’t miss out on the free download.

Odesza
All We Need (Louis Futon Remix) Feat. Shy Girls

Fresh off of a new EP, Louis Futon has decided to hit us with yet another outstanding remix. As the number of Odesza remixes continues to multiply, some can get lost in the madness, but Louis Futon takes a slight deviation from your typical renditions with an almost R&B edge. Retaining the sultry Shy Girls vocals, this tune bounces along nicely with purpose and a presence that sits comfortably amongst prior releases in Louis Futon’s collection. Odesza could easily play the entirety of their festival circuit with the remixes that have been put out of them (just on ‘Say My Name’ alone), but this version of ‘All We Need’ is sure to finds its way into their sets and plenty of other artists’ as well. It’s a just a fun tune overall that’s equal parts sensual and upbeat. Yet again, we’re lucky as fans because it’s up for a free download, so don’t hesitate to grab it HERE.

Listenbee
Save Me- Tez Cadey Remix

Early in December, we featured the utterly addictive sonic dance stylings of Listenbee’s “Save Me”, and of course it was only a matter of time before the remixes began pouring in for the viral tune. Alas, it is our duty to separate the killer from the filler, which is exactly what we’ve done as we’ve got a hold of the first stellar “Save Me” remix, this one coming from 21 year-old Parisian dance producer Tez Cadey. Cadey takes the tune, and reworks a sterling set of drums while dusting his own view of synth work throughout to create a refreshing take on a track we haven’t been able to shake from our in-house dance playlist since its release. NYC’s Lokal Lagend imprint continues to impress us with this one, so take a few minutes and stream Tez Cadey’s take on Listenbee’s “Save Me” above.
