Colorado’s own Adara just came out with a superb song that is guaranteed to get stuck in your head. We would apologize, but we’re not going to. “Oasis” is the single we are referring to. Released by Archipelago Ent., Adara’s masterpiece is going to take your breathe away.

“Oasis” is exactly as you’d imagine, a sonic escape from the worries of the world. Her pop sound fits extremely well with the spunky future bass instrumental that her vocal soars from. There isn’t one thing wrong about this record; each tone, riff, drum fill, everything is where it needs to be. It’s sad to see when singers rely on the instrumental too much, but with Adara that is not the case. She is undoubtedly the star, shining with a performance that will leave you goosebumps. The partnership between the acts Kicks N Licks and Adara has been a fruitful one. We’ve gotten a remix, as well as a couple collaborations, but now that couple has turned into a few with the release of “Tribal.”

Since Kicks N Licks has moved down a new road, they’ve been doing nothing but destroying the game. They’ve always had noticeable talent, but they’ve begun to not only find their sound, but excel at creating powerful, engaging music. “Tribal” is just that, a raw portrayal of feelings in song form. We get the magnificent melodic work from Kicks N Licks on top of another impressive performance from Adara. 2016 has been a kick ass year for the duo and 2017 is looking even brighter. Get your copy of what may be their last single of the year. It’s not for sure, but never know what’s coming from KnL.

[Multi-Genre] Kicks N Licks – Young Mind Remix EP

Our homies Kicks N Licks had quite a successful release with their Young Mind EP. Now, they’re back with the Young Mind Remix EP, with three remixers, as well as a 2.0 of their single “Mind” with Lauren Hunter. Lost Identity and Trap Nation put out this four track EP for free, so make sure to download the tracks before you head out.

Kicks N Licks enlisted FLØRALS, At Dawn We Rage and Ditta & Dumont for remixes of both singles off their original EP. Before the remixes, Kicks N Licks 2.0 of “Mind” introduces the project with its hybrid future sound. The first remix that we get is FLØRALS who bring some heavy Flume influences to the table with his flip of “Young.” At Dawn We Rage keep in line with the future sound, but bring a bit more spacey vibe with their take on “Mind.” Lastly, Ditta & Dumont bring the bass with their heavy dub interpretation of “Young.” Altogether, the Young Mind Remix EP is a strong project through and through with each artist bringing something a little different to the table, while keeping things within scope.

[Multi-Genre] MitiS – Foundations EP

Back in January we had the opportunity for an exclusive regarding a special project that MitiS had coming. He then shared with us the intro track to his now released Foundations EP, a five track project that has been released for free through Born Records.

MitiS delves back into the melodic styles that brought him acclaim. The classically trained musician kicks off the project with an ethereal composition that sets the mood of the rest of the EP. From there we move to two dubstep tracks that really bring that classic MitiS sound to life. “Before The Season Ends” has the producer bringing some house vibes, then MitiS further diversifies with the glitchy “Breathe.” “Forever” closes out the EP with an uplifting house sound that is perfect for Spring time parties.
