Happy Monday Ninjas! The weekend has come and gone, but that won’t stop us from supplying music that’ll get you pumped and energized, especially when four more days of work lie ahead. So, to kick off the work week, we’ve got a nice little bass number to share from Buygore signee SubDocta that’ll undoubtedly get your blood flowing. The Arizona native’s latest release, “Skeleton Key,” is a powerful assimilation of vibrating wobbles and divergent rhythms. Dark melodies characterized by metallic synths seamlessly intertwine with ground-shaking basslines, giving way to a delightfully eerie product that we can’t help but find irresistible.

[Future Bass] Magnifico & Taptone – Sonata

Magnifico & Taptone
Sonata

Future bass meets dance, meets instrumentals, meets bouncy synths; Magnifico and Taptone’s “Sonata” released on Lowly Palace, has taken a bit everything and melded it together into a dramatic production that we’re 100% on board with.

Upon pressing play the track builds into a climactic drop laden with the all familiar sound of trumpets, an instrument that adds a positive flair in so many great productions. This infectious track delves into an unexpected moment of a smoother melody where, yet again, an instrumental is featured, this time luscious piano chords slowing everything down before reviving into the upbeat dance track. The back and forth between this fluttering heartbeat of a track leaves us feeling satisfied but ready for more. Ups and downs may be hard in life, but in music they’re a welcome distraction. “Sonata” is available as a free download.

"Take Me Under" (PRMD DSCVR)

We’re still in the first month of 2017 and with the amount of incredible music that closed 2016, it’s no surprise that the new year is already bringing us music that pulls at our heart strings. With a chance of a very bleak 4 years ahead of us producer Suave is bringing us something fresh with is new track “Take Me Under.”

As the first release of the year with PRMD Music, this self taught pianist, vocalist, and producer has brought us a track that melds trap, bass and melodic melodies into one. Pulling inspiration from artists such as Said the Sky and Lido, Suave manages to make his tracks completely his own with crisp sounds featuring his very own vocals and, in this case, Miranda Gulasy.

Suave has landed himself in the top 50 Soundcloud charts as well as a million plays between his releases. Grab the track as a free download and add him to your 2017 watch list.

[Chill] Krubera – Bleach

Krubera
Bleach

UK up-and-coming bass enthusiast Krubera has established himself as one of the hottest talents to look out for in 2015 with “Bleach”. Chill trap is really still being defined as a genre and the limits are being pushed every day, however Krubera rightly earned his place at the table as he hammers home the 808s. However, it’s more than just the drum work that makes this song so hot; Krubera isn’t too shabby at creating melodies either. I see some producers and labels putting out instrumental way less creative than this on a daily basis so let this serve as a notice to Krubera that his time will come very soon.

Orphan's Son (Ekali Remix)

What else is there to be said about Ekali? The dude has quickly become not just a TMN favorite, but a force to be reckoned with in the bass music scene. With only eight tracks under his belt, he’s already racked up nearly 10,000 Soundcloud followers and that number will only continue to grow as industry tastemakers and leading producers keep taking notice. His latest effort is as dark and sinister as it is gorgeous. Eli Muro makes his Ninja debut as Ekali turns “Orphan’s Son” into a broody banger that I think anyone with a pulse can and will enjoy.

[Electronic] Ryan Farber – Freak

FREAK

Whether you have an ear for it or not, this actually a remix/heavily sampled original; and an incredible one at that. Ryan Farber may be slightly newer to the game, but every production he does is well-thought-out and quality over quantity seems to be the mantra with his distorted, dark take on house music. It’s very Jack Beats-esque, however the Philly kid turns it into a brand of its own. His latest endeavor takes the always classic Rick James anthem “Freak” and gives it a bit of chest hair and bass to boot. If you’re looking for something to start off your 5AM Los Angeles warehouse party with, this is your kind of song.
