King Chip
Vortex (ft. Kid Cudi & Pusha T)

King Chip, formerly known as Chip tha Ripper, has always been a ninja favorite for his unique brand of smooth, laid-back raps. When you add his fellow Cleveland native, Kid Cudi, to the picture the outcome never fails to be dope. On a standout from Chip’s latest mixtape, 44108, the dynamic duo, and Wicked Awesome labelmates, team up with G.O.O.D. Music’s man of the hour Pusha T for a refreshingly original track.

On “Vortex,” Cudi and Dot da Genius (aka WZRD) team up for a psychedelic, guitar and piano-laden beat setting the tone perfectly for a song about a dangerous love interest. Cudder creates one of his trademark hooks taking his vocals up an octave from what we’re used to. Pusha T continues his relentless streak of vicious bars and King Chip continues the maturation of his style delivering with the confidence of a vet.

Enjoy this great track above and, if you’re digging it as much as we are, make sure to grab the whole 44108 project, which includes a number of other notable features, for free HERE.

Fortunately for fans, not only is there a date set for the much-anticipated release, but we also have the lead single in ‘Sweet Serenade’. Swizz Beatz sets a dark, moody tone for Pusha to spit over while fellow VA artist Chris Brown creates a catchy hook. The full length My Name is My Name will drop on October 8th.

After Jay-Z released his “Open Letter” earlier this morning, Kanye decided he couldn’t let his big bro have all the fun today. Yeezy made his return to Twitter for the first time in months this afternoon to let everyone know:

Soon after, we were given this unique new single from Pusha T. I say unique, because I don’t believe I’ve heard a beat quite like this ever before. It really takes a good pair of headphones to hear all the subtleties and nuanes in the production. This will presumably be featured on Pusha’s upcoming solo debut, My Name Is My Name, due out later this year.

With his upcoming mixtape just a day away, Virginia-bred Pusha T drops off a dope single with D.C.’s own Wale. While most of Push’s music as of late has held a heavy and aggressive traphouse feel, he slows things down on “Only You Can Tell It” with a laid back, but piercing, track dedicated to those he feels envy his success. Both emcees showcase their styles on this one complementing each other perfectly in the process. Check it below and look for his free tape, Wrath of Caine, here at TMN tomorrow!

[Hip-Hop] Pusha T – Millions (Feat. Rick Ross)

Say what you want about Pusha T, but there’s no denying that he puts 110% into every verse he crafts. He’s got a fire and intensity about him that’s unmatched by anyone else that dares to pick up the mic in his presence. MMG bawse, Rick Ross, does his best to keep up as the two Southern emcees flaunt their wealth throughout the track. Considering how prominent of a part he’s played as part of G.O.O.D. Music since he signed back in 2010, it’s hard to believe we’re still waiting on Pusha’s first full solo album, My Name is My Name (that’s not counting Fear of God II: Let Us Pray). Before we get that however, we’ll be blessed with a mixtape, known as Wrath of Caine, which this song will be featured on. Both projects are expected to drop sometime in 2013.
