[Hip-Hop] Pusha T – Blocka feat. Popcaan & Travi$ Scott (prod. Young Chop)

Pusha T‘s career with G.O.O.D. Music thus far has yielded some pretty awesome results. As he prepares for next year’s release of his debut solo album, My Name Is My Name…, Pusha Ton will be dropping a free project titled Wrath of Caine in the coming weeks. “Blocka,” the first single from the mixtape, features a dope, trapped out beat courtesy of Young Chop over which the G.O.O.D. emcee delivers his unique high energy, dope-dealer flows. Up ‘n comer Travi$ Scott also provides some solid bars and Popcaan brings some of his Jamaican dance hall to the chorus. Enjoy some ratchet-ness below and look out for more new from Pusha this month.

[HIp-Hop] Pusha T – Pain ft. Future (Prod. Kanye West)

Shortly after the release of Cruel Summer, G.O.O.D. Music emcee Pusha T drops an impromptu new single, titled “Pain”. The Kanye West produced track is a creatively gritty single mixing heavy bass, maraca rips, gunshot echoes and background vocals cultivating a dark vibe. As expected, the Bronx rapper does this tough beat justice by delivering some dope lines throughout his lyrically witty verses.

With lines like “18 wheeler gorillas/ black with gold chains/pitch bird like the steelers/hines ward of the crime lords/running through this money screaming encore,” Pusha T maintains his street persona that is then softened by the auto-tuned hook from the ATL emcee Future. This track is nothing less than a certified banger with a cold beat that is just in time for “hoodie weather” season. Although it is not clear whether this will be on Pusha’s long awaited debut solo studio album or the rumored Cruel Winter compilation LP, you should still enjoy the track below.

[Hip-Hop] Pusha T, Raekwon & Joell Ortiz – Tick, Tock (Prod. Frank Dukes & S-1)

We finally have one of the first singles of what could possibly one of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time in RZA‘s The Man With The Iron Fists. The tracklist has had mouths watering for weeks now, as fans eagerly waited for a taste of what’s to come. With original compositions coming from none other than The Wu-Tang ClanKanye West, The Black Keys, Wiz Khalifa, and more, it’s easy to see why. “Tick, Tock” definitely sets the tone early on of what to expect with both the film and the soundtrack. As the song begins, the beat easily paints vivid pictures of a typical coyote western film, before seamlessly transitioning into a subtle, meditating oriental backdrop. If you’ve seen the trailer for the upcoming film, you’ll come to understand why the mood changes incidentally like that. It’s easy to imagine the scene that takes place alongside this track: something along the lines of a kung-fu warrior (presumably the man with the iron fists) training for his most epic bout to date, before finally beginning his battle after the conclusion of the song. Pusha T, Raekwon, and Joell Ortiz certainly make an eclectic pairing overall, but they all do an excellent job of setting the mood properly, bringing their own flavor and flair to each fiery verse. It’s an absolute understatement to say that RZA’s done a great job of setting the mood and building the hype for this film thus far.

Definitely make sure to cop the soundtrack for The Man With The Iron Fists, dropping October 23rd, and don’t miss the film in theaters on November 2nd.

[Dubstep] The Fight Of My Life ft. Pusha T (Zeds Dead Remix)

Almost a month after they teased us with a preview, Zeds Dead have finally released the full majesty of their remix of Colin Munroe‘s The Fight Of My Life featuring Pusha T.  Their style has become so recognizable with such smooth melodious sections that build into some of the most heart-pounding bass grooves you’ll hear.  Nothing beats listening to this jam on a proper sound system where you can capture the subtleties of the dismal strings and the chorus that dwells ever present in the background. Zeds Dead baby!

Chief Keef Ft. Kanye West, Pusha T, Jadakiss & Big Sean – I Don’t Like (Remix)

Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean and Jadakiss have come together for a G.O.O.D. Music’s remix of Chicago rapper Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like,” but it seems that not everyone is happy with the result. Original producer Young Chop told radio host DJ Moom Dog this week:

“I’m mad as f*ck, for the simple fact that they did not ask me to change up sh*t in my beat. How the f*ck did they add another melody over the instrumental? These motherf*ckers is playing me and I don’t give two f*cks, I will sue the shit out of Kanye West… I made a f*cking sound, so you supposed to stay with my f*cking sound. The beat is fucking hard by itself. That shit don’t sound the same, it don’t got the same feel.”

As for now, the track is not for sale or profit which makes Young Chop threats to sue a mute point. Listen to it below:
