Here’s a tune to start your Wednesday right. We are thoroughly impressed by this remix by Golden Coast, as they once again proved their versatility in making good music. Incorporating a light trap beat and crafty samples, the talented duo turned Ofelia K.‘s “White T-Shirt” into the ultimate feel-good track. The beautiful vocals simply cannot go better with the synth melody. It’s one of those summery songs you can never get tired of listening to.

Golden Coast strays away from their usual indie pop route and still manages to deliver, and these remixes just keep getting better and better. If you’re having a shitty day, put on some Golden Coast and they will surely put a smile on your face.

As the weather begins to shift toward warmer temperatures, the mood everywhere becomes lighter and those feel-good tunes that you discover are just that much better. Synth-pop duo Golden Coast have been on our radar since their first release last year, and they seem to have this innate ability to soak in the LA sun and translate it into summery, danceable jams. While we sit on the edge of the summer months, the hybrid act release their fifth offering, “Take You Away,” to start the momentum in April and propel us straight ahead into three months of bliss.

In typical Golden Coast fashion, “Take You Away” begins with a luscious guitar riff before glittering synth chords take the lead and the duo’s vocals swoop in to give the track their pop infusion every one knows and loves. The duo know that LA’s weather is hard to beat, and their latest tune spreads the Southern California area’s good vibes for everyone to enjoy. For when pool party season starts up, keep this one in your back pocket and I promise you people will thank you for making the party just a little bit warmer with the vibes of Golden Coast.

We’ve covered the original, and now Golden Coast‘s “Futurist” gets a trapped out treatment courtest of the Grammy award winning Sirah. Not only does she flip the tune from a indie pop masterpiece into a hip-hop jam unnaturally well, Sirah decided to go ahead and rip a verse as well. Needles to say Sirah backs up her award with ease, and she’s opened the door for Golden Coast in a big way. Their falsettos are clean and clear and balance out her seasoned flow perfectly on the second half of the track. Hopefully in the future we can get an actual collaboration between these two, because if this remix tells us anything, they could make a huge tune together.

The two infused this song with pitched vocals, futuristic synths, Jersey Club elements, and a powerful percussion that’ll make you feel all sorts of ways.
