This week’s episode covers the plethora of new releases that dropped last week including Solange’s psychedelic surprise, Weval’s long-anticipated sophomore album, a psych-rock epic from Pond, the soul-bearing third album from Little Simz and a new direction from Australian producer Charlie Murdoch. I also played some catch up on recent releases from Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin, Canadian soultronic duo Planet Giza and NY emcee Deem Spencer. To close things out we got into a couple artists I saw live recently with Maribou State and Tourist before finishing up with Four Tet’s massive new Nelly Furtado-sampling single.
