As Soundcloud user “after crazy” bluntly puts it, this track is “destruction in my head”, and rightly so. Indiana-born and bred Figure draws upon 60s throwback vocal and sound samples, taking the listener on an aural space odyssey complete with laser fights with aliens and high-speed spacecraft chases. These days we see a lot of electronic artists churn out mindless albeit catchy beats, so it is refreshing to hear Figure create a moody space fantasy out of what already would be a blistering dubstep track. Prepare to have your eardrums slayed.
