[Electronic] DROELOE – See Through Me

DROELOE
See Through Me

It’s Wednesday afternoon and all that we can think about is the minute the clock strikes 6, so we can bolt out of the office and hit those happy hour deals, or snuggle under the covers of our beds. But, why not eradicate that stigma we so often apply to the work week and look at it in a positive light? For us music lovers every day – whether it’s a miserable Monday or a “Friday fun day” – means new tunes, and at TMN it’s our passion to mine for the best-of-the-best and the freshest-of-the-fresh in music.

Selecting the most fitting songs for our listeners can get pretty difficult with all of the incredible music that’s out there, but electronic duo DROELOE made it almost too easy for us after we took a listen to their latest. “See Through Me” is a beautiful fusion of edginess and etherealness. Provoking intrigue from the very start with airy echoes and jagged synths, the single culminates with a spectacular explosion of rich melodies and harmonies that are paired perfectly with crisp percussion. DROELOE has us at hello through the release of “See Through Me,” while reminding us bloggers why we love digging for music so damn much.

Blu J’s brand new release featuring vocalist Matthew Chaim, “Safe” has “springtime” written all over it. The new single combines best of both worlds, comprising both chill, laid back vibes that open to a chorus designed with a sexy, party-starting beat. Simultaneously, Matthew Chaim sets the mood as his edgy voice complements the rhythm of “Safe,” while Blu J execute their superb production skills using Matthew’s voice for some tasteful vocal chops. The title is a mirror reflection of the song itself; it’s undeniably a safe bet of a pick for your Spring Break soundtrack.

[Future Bass] Dabin – You & I (feat. Jenna Pemkowski)

DABIN
You & I (feat. Jenna Pemkowski)

Dabin of Kannibalen Records has something special on the horizon. His album, Two Hearts, is set for release at the end of March, but the first single off the project has surfaced. “You & I” features the singer Jenna Pemkowski and is packed with all the vibes you could ask for in a song.

“You & I” is a beautiful song. Dabin always puts out emotional tracks but for some reason this sticks out as something even more potent than usual. If the rest of the album is like this, then Dabin is going to be one of the most hype artists on the market. Jenna Pemkowski is sure to make a name for herself too with her amazing performance on this single. Dabin’s soft synths play nicely together with her sweet voice and together they made a magical single that is a step in the right direction for the upcoming album. “You & I” is currently available for stream and the album is up for pre-order on iTunes.

Calling all NYC party people. In case you haven’t heard the news already, NYC’s historic venue Webster Hall recently introduced their newest weekly event GOTHAM. [Future] Droeloe – Bon Voyage

DROELOE
Bon Voyage

Dutch artists Droeloe are back with yet another unparalleled production. This time, they took an exceptionally wide step to release this special track. Their latest, “Bon Voyage,” is one of many “cracked codes” involved in their latest creative project; a full on “Monstercat hack.” Engaging their fans and listeners by tasking them to piece together forthcoming releases through mysterious videos and a Monstercat website takeover, they’ve finally exposed their newest single.

“Bon Voyage” exposes Droeloes’ consistent abilities to deviate from typical future electronic music as the song encompasses uniquely crafted synths and melodies that are near impossible to resist. With an unpredictable chorus and innovative sound, we can confidently say that this tune was well worth the anticipation.
