[NEW] PSY – Gangnam Style (Diplo Remix) (Feat. 2 Chainz & Tyga)

If you thought the “Gangnam Style” craze was over, you’re sadly mistaken. Arguably the hottest song over the last year, now has one of the oddest remixes of the year. With Diplo at the helm, the K-Pop hit gets a whole new dimension of springiness behind it as it’s transformed into a certified trap anthem. What really helps get the song popping are the verses from 2 Chainz and Tyga (I guess Lil Wayne and Drake weren’t available). They aren’t going to impress you with their lyrics, but they’ll definitely get your head bopping, which is all that really matters here. The main thing I really want to see out of all of this though, is a brand new music video featuring 2 Chainz trying to do the dance. That would be awesome. For those wondering, this is an official remix, and it will be on PSY‘s Gangnam Style (강남스타일) [Remix Style] – EP, out today on iTunes. Also included below is the full version of Afrojack‘s remix of the track, which is also on the EP.

[Mad Decent] Major Lazer – LAZER STRIKES BACK Vol. 1

If you were looking forward to the new Major Lazer album as much as we were, I’m sure you were disappointed to find out that it was delayed until next month. Of course that doesn’t mean we go empty handed because they have just posted the first volume of LAZER STRIKES BACK , a three part series of remixes. Jack Beats throws his signature sound over the Major Lazer – Flux Pavillion bass monster “Jah No Partial”. YellowClaw‘s “Get Free Money Remix” was in our very first Trap Dojo. The Hardstyle influenced “Original Don” gets an old school Techno feel with a huge emotional electro finale. The final song is the Major Lazer extended remix of Hot Chip‘s “Look At Where We Are”. GTA & Diplo – Boy Oh Boy + Diplo & DJ Fresh – Up [Anthems]

Diplo‘s 2013 world takeover has just begun. First up, teaming with GTA for some funky Electro infused Moombah. Sampling Missy Elliot‘s song “Work It” in the best ways possible, and delivering some incredible vocal work. Swick, Mad Decent’s new rising star from Melbourne, Australia is just coming off releasing his Bubbles EP a few months back to now working on this new collaborative track with the Twerk King himself titled ‘Keep It Gully’.
