[Future House] Timbaland Ft. Keri Wilson – The Way I Are (Chachi Remix)

ChachiOfficial
The Way I Are (Chachi Remix)

NY-based veteran producer Chachi released this juicy remix of a semi-throwback track by originally by Timbaland and Keri Hilson, and it certainly showcases the producer’s skillset, as he fuses future house with electropop and a hint of hip-hop. The tune starts off with a looping vocal sample that continues to drive throughout the whole song. The main melody is still there, reminiscent of an old Top 40 track that makes you sing along no matter what. The bass drop features a series of hardhitting future bass maneuvers that would leave you headbanging ’til your head falls off. It’s catchy, it’s a banger, and we absolutely want to hear more. Make sure to grab a free download of the track or click here. Chachi is definitely an exciting producer to watch in this coming year.

Sunday Night Soul [Vol. 23]

This is a special day folks, and I’m sure plenty of you already know why. While we won’t explicitly spell it out for you, we hope many of you celebrated the occasion in your own special ways. However, there is one matter of business left to take care of, and that’s making sure you end your night on the right note, with some Sunday Night Soul.

While we expected to have plenty more holiday “anthems” to provide you with tonight, we still believe we have the perfect lineup to zone out to, and help lull you into dreamland. We can’t help but feel a special connection to this week’s crop of tracks, but maybe that’s because a few of these already helped carry us through our day as well.

Sunni Colón was certainly a popular man this week, as his track “Temple” was remixed by three of our favorite producers, staRo, Esta and Hasta. It’s tough to pick a favorite from that group, but right now we’d have to give the crown to Esta. Impressive performances were also turned in from the likes Namuun AriunRachel Foxx, The Internet, Acropolis Sound, Teyana Taylor, Nina Sky, Kidepo, Sophia Black, Echo, Vanessa Elishakutthrowt, kenji, RVDICAL THE KID, MisterMack, Anushka, Tourist and Reva DeVito & Kaytranada. Of course the fun doesn’t stop there, so as an added bonus, we’ve also included the full album stream of Blackbear‘s The Afterglow, to ensure the maximum amount of feels. You already know the drill folks, and if you’re not high for this right now, we’re sure you’ll be feeling something once you reach the end of this one (and we don’t mean the munchies).

[NEW] Justin Timberlake – TKO (Black Friday Remix) (Feat. J. Cole, A$AP Rocky & Pusha T)

Justin Timberlake
TKO (Black Friday Remix) (Feat. J. Cole, A$AP Rocky & Pusha T)

And the good music just keeps on coming. Just in time for Black Friday, hit-maker Justin Timberlake drops an unexpected new remix to his latest single, “TKO,” bringing in some heavyweight emcees to deliver some dope verses over the Timbaland production. J.Cole steps up to the plate first, with a vicious verse utilizing a similar flow to Drake‘s on “Versace.” The Roc Nation emcee even gives fans a response to the now infamous Kendrick Lamar diss on “Control.” A$AP follows by addressing the rumors swirling around about his highly talked about love life and Pusha T closes things about by making a case that he has the album of the year. This mix is definitely audio crack and should not go unheard. Take a listen and decide which emcee had the best verse over the addicting beat.

[NEW] Timbaland – Know Bout Me (Feat. Jay-Z, Drake & James Fauntleroy)

Timbaland
Know About Me (Feat. Jay-Z, Drake & James Fauntleroy)

After alluding to this track awhile back, mega-producer Timbaland drops a brand new single featuring Drake and Jay-Z. The single, titled “Know Bout Me,” is a monster collaboration and very reminiscent of classic Timbo from the 90’s with heavy hitting bass and rim rattling studio effects. It seems the beef is squashed between the rapper and producer and now we get the aftermath of the make-up. At first listen, it definitely takes some getting used to as Timbo abandons the synth beats and electro rhythms for a more throwback flow. That might be something that new fans are not used to but still is just as good as his previous hits. With the addition of Drizzy and Hov delivering some dope verses and James Faunterloy crooning on the hook, this is a nice taste of what is to come from the Virginia native.

If you are feeling nostalgic, take a listen to the first single off his upcoming full length Textbook Timbo, and be sure to grab a copy when it hits iTunes December 3rd.

[NEW] Justin Timberlake – Cabaret (Feat. Drake) (Prod. Timbaland) + Full Album Stream

Justin Timberlake
Cabaret Feat. Drake

Justin Timberlake‘s The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 will be hitting shelves next Monday, and just like last time, JT has partnered with iTunes to provide fans with an early glimpse for free in order to prepare for its release. One of the most anticipated tracks from the album was easily “Cabaret,” alongside Drake. The single features two talented artists who have thoroughly dominated the charts throughout their careers, linking up for the very first time. Just as you may have expected, “Cabaret” does include an appearance from R&B Drizzy; however, it’s a pretty minor cameo compared to the minute long verse where the Toronto native spits game the way only he knows how.

The full album stream for JT’s The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 can be found here, while Drake’s Nothing Was The Same will be in stores tomorrow.

[NEW] Justin Timberlake – TKO (Prod. Timbaland)

Justin Timberlake‘s The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) is set to drop at the end of this month, and although very little is known about the album so far, one thing seems to be certain: this sequel will definitely have a musical identity of its own. While the first 20/20 Experience boasted a much more mature and soulful sound from the Tennessee crooner,   “TKO” seems to take things back to 2006, falling more in line with the Timbaland produced hits on FutureSex/LoveSounds. Fans who complained about the lack of pop friendly singles from Timberlake’s comeback record will certainly be pleased with this one. Make sure to pre-order The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2), which will hit shelves on September 30th, and also include features from Drake and Jay-Z.
