The dreamy, euphoric production makes for the perfect backdrop to the singer’s ethereal vocals, which are later greeted by an unexpected and lively drop. What catches our attention most with Autograf’s latest is the divergence in sound compared to their previous works. “Sleepless In NYC” is definitely a step in a new direction for them and leaves us on the edge of our seats as we eagerly wait to hear what they have in store for us next.

Kidswaste
Fade (ft. Hunting Stories)

At The Music Ninja, we’re all about pushing new and undiscovered talent to the forefront, and simultaneously we are major advocates of acknowledging the growth of artists who’ve already established a name for their self. That’s where Kidswaste fits into this.

Following the success of his early 2017 EP Spleen, the French singer/songwriter, producer and instrumentalist makes his return with a heart-rendering single, “Fade.” He enlists the smoky vocals of Hunting Stories that perfectly complement the track’s dynamic folk-infused indie electronic style.

We can’t seem to get “Fade” out of our heads – and nor do we want to – with its relatable lyrics and chorus that immediately sticks. The song showcases just how far the artist has come in his abilities and leaves us begging to know what else he has in store. Get a copy of the track today and stay tuned for more as Kidswaste just got signed to Counter Records alongside Odesza, Giraffage and more!

[Electronic] Louis The Child – Love Is Alive (Chet Porter Remix)

Louis The Child
Love Is Alive (Chet Porter Remix)

Friday has officially kicked in and loads of amazing fresh tunes just keep flowing in. One that caught our ears is the latest from Toronto-native Chet Porter by way of an official remix of Louis The Child’sLove Is Alive.”

This one stuck out like sore thumb due to the drastic difference in sound that we’re used to hearing from Chet. He traded in his mellow, indie-pop synths for a heavy bassline and melody soaked vocal chops of Elohim’s dynamic voice. Every element blends wonderfully in this Summery take of the original. Don’t forget to peep the dates for Chet’s first headlining tour this Fall, and see if he’ll be traveling to a city near you!

[Hip-Hop] Azad – “Enough of You” (Karnaval Blues Remix)

Enough of You (Karnaval Blues Remix)

“Enough Of You” is Sango, Atu and Dpat all producing under the smooth flow of LA-based rapper, Azad. As if that couldn’t get any better, it was just flipped brilliantly by the indie producer Karnaval Blues. With names like this on the original saying the bar is set high would be an understatement. But with Karnaval Blues’ washed-out take on the production and mixing of Azad’s rap it surpasses expectation. Thanks to this epic flip, we’ve got a new up-and-comer we’ll be certainly keeping an eye on. Give it a listen above.
