Cinematic producer Danny Olson is back with a new project that is quickly shaping up to be something truly special. With the release of “Waking Up” featuring Becca Krueger, Olson kicks off a concept project that came out of the tragic passing of his dad last year.

Released on Seeking Blue, “Waking Up” is a masterful expression of emotional fortitude. Even through times of deep sorrow, there are moments of positivity that can stem from a memory or simply out of nowhere. This brief relief is highlighted in epic fashion thanks to Becca’s astonishing performance and Danny’s monumental production. “Waking Up” comes with a heartfelt lyric video – and the promise of more music soon. Cinematic maestro Danny Olson teamed up with Highlnd and vocalist Micah Martin for the energizing “Not Letting Go” on Insomniac’s Lost In Dreams. As far as Summer songs go, this is a must have as it has just the right mixture of party vibes and emotional depth. You wanna drink and rage and be a party animal? This works. You want to just get in your feels by yourself in your headphones? This works too.

Danny Olson has established himself as a promising producer, but instead of his usual orchestral influence he and his collaborators hone in on rock n roll for a thrilling original. Micah delivers a great performance as usual while Danny Olson and Highlnd set a beautiful stage that feels like it could make some waves in radio. Even during the “drop” it still doesn’t feel too… well, EDM – so it works for everyone, raver or not.

[Electronic] ClariS – Careless (Slushii Remix)

The prodigious producer Slushii is back together with Sacra Beats, formerly Sakura Chill Beats, for another massive anime remix. This time he takes on “Careless” by ClariS which many will recognize as the opening theme song from season 2 of Magia Record.

Slushii’s take on “Careless” is a bubbly midtempo record that takes influence from numerous genres including future, pop, moombahton and more. It’s a fun record that even English speakers are going to sing along to as they dance away to Slushii’s synth heavy production. It fits perfectly with the style of ClariS’ original and makes for one of the more unique remixes in the Sacra Beats ever-growing catalog.

As we move into festival season we’re getting into the time of year when producer’s are bringing out their big tracks, which is exactly what Vincent & RUNN deliver with “Sunburn.” Memorable from the start, this record is certainly a special one within both artists’ impressive discographies.

“Sunburn” is a song that you will not be able to get out of your head, not that you even want it do escape. Vincent delivers one of his most catchy productions yet while RUNN shows yet again why she is one of the best around. It’s future bass meets pop sound is just dying to crush on the radio, so don’t be surprised if you hear this getting rinsed across the airwaves or crops up in a bazillion playlists. Be cool and add it to yours first though! 😉

The cinematic maestro Danny Olson has recently dropped his biggest EP to date. Featuring the next chapter of his ever-evolving orchestral signature, the Club Cinema EP features five singles created in collaboration with vocalists including Vo Williams, David Frank and Daemon.

Together these cunning creatives put together a masterful record that is just aching to be in Hollywood’s next big action trailer. Danny is no stranger to sync success, but with songs like “Dreamer” and “Don’t Wake Me Up” he’s surely going to add a few more commercial spots to his belt. His ability to express emotion at such a high level, while still offering up energetic songs that would crush in a live setting is astonishing.

Sony Music Asia has a new endeavor that is proving to be quite the cultural powerhouse. Sakura Chill Beats is Sony’s new Youtube channel where they are highlighting talent from across the world by giving them the exclusive opportunity to officially remix some of anime’s biggest hit theme songs. Their latest is from Tokyo Machine, who took on KANA-BOON’s hit song “Silhouette” which is the theme for the internationally acclaimed Naruto.

Tokyo Machine delivers a smash hit of a remix that certainly lives up to the legendary status of the original song. We totally understand that music in another language can be hard for some to enjoy, but Tokyo Machine really did a number on this one and created something that sounds so fun that it’s hard not to enjoy. So go on ahead and drop this one into your gaming, driving, partying or whatever other kind of playlists that you got rolling.

The anonymous talent Juuku is coming into the dojo with the premiere of a brand new single called “To You.” This emotional original is the first independent release from Juuku after having worked alongside Proximity and Mr. Suicide Sheep previously. “To You” is dedicated to all fans, old and new, for continuing to support this magnificent talent.

“To You” is a highly emotional future bass production that works in cinematic elements that really breathe added life into the track. Juuku has always managed to do things a little different from the usual lot of creators and this track is another example of that iconic signature.
