It was all about new music on this week’s episode with highlights including Willow Smith‘s silky new album, Still Woozy‘s latest flawless single, Mndsgn‘s filtered funk and a slew of bass-injected party starters from Star Slinger, Just Geo & more. Last week also marked the return of Jai & AK Paul and Tame Impala who both delivered the kind of quality we’ve come to expect from them. Finally, there was a spotlight on one of my favorite new finds Novelty Daughter who’s new album Inertia has been in heavy rotation.

Anytime I take even a week off the show it feels like I’ve got way too much music to share. This time around I started with about 5 hours and whittled it down to the ones that best fit the vibe. Per usual, the show varies pretty drastically genre-wise spotlighting new albums from Mount Kimbie, LCD Soundsystem, Alvvays, Nosaj Thing, Brockhampton & Klyne. Also featured are singles from Adam Vida, Giraffage, Qrion, Slow Magic, Courtship Ritual & more.

After a week away at Form Arcosanti, there were a bunch of new albums to catch up on from Slowdive, Nick Hakim, Nite Jewel, Hoops & more. The resulting mix made for a more laid back episode until the end where we got into some vocal-driven indie electronic tunes from Nick Murphy and newcomers Worth Way along with some hard-hitting bass music from the likes of Vincent, Flume and Sinjin Hawke.

Highlighting some left field, up ‘n comers alongside those more established artists made for far-ranging sounds. To close the show, Ninja Ash took his XDJs out for a mini-mix of some vibey house tunes.

After a month out of the studio, we had a ton going on during this week’s episode of TMN Radio. Co-host Dom is embarking on a new life journey and will be moving to London next week so we bid him farewell for now–opening and closing the show with London-inspired tracks. We also had special guest Still Woozy to premiere his incredible first solo single and share some of his wide-ranging inspiration.
