[TMN Premiere] Loveclub – Stuck

Loveclub
Stuck

Hardly anything gets our proverbial Music Ninja blood pumping quite like unveiling brand new artists yet unheard to the rest of the world. Such is the case with today’s TMN Premiere coming from L.A. based, Canadian Indie-Pop project, Loveclub. Loveclub’s aural aesthetic is one bending 80’s synth kits & sensibilities around sharp songwriting, and contemporary pop arrangements for a sound uniquely his, yet utterly relatable.

The first single to see light from Loveclub is “Stuck”. Fusing tinny kick-drums, aerated pads and perfectly popping snare stabs, Loveclub buoys the lovely instrumentation with a flitting vocal track that shapes the tune’s emotional identity; landing somewhere between indie-pop and (wink, wink) PBR&B. About the tune, the debuting artist shared: “’Stuck’ is about putting it all out there and realizing that sometimes it doesn’t work out.” Something surely most of our listeners can associate with. We’re prognosticating a strong finish to 2018 from the budding synth-pop style-bender that is Loveclub, and you can be sure we’ll be revealing more pieces to his unraveling puzzle as they are released. Until then, stream Loveclub’s premiere single “Stuck” above.

Wavedash & Quest – Star Power (AWE Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Around a month ago Wavedash released their collaboration with Quest called “Star Power” on the Devil Music EP. The song is still being rinsed by DJ’s all over, but now they have a new remix to match it with thanks to LA’s own AWE.

Premiered right here in the dojo, AWE’s hybrid “Star Power” has been released by Mad Zoo. AWE keeps the heavy nature of the original intact, but he implements his own eclectic dose of sounds into the mix. Aside from the dirty sound design, AWE builds an industrial tone throughout the song that gives it a savage edge, making it a festival gem. It’s much more than that though as you’ll see near the end. Don’t forget to add this one to your digital library.

FINNEAS – Landmine (Aire Atlantica Remix) [TMN Premiere]

FINNEAS
Landmine (Aire Atlantica Remix)

LA-based singer/songwriter FINNEAS has been reaching incredible heights at such a young age, both in his music and performances. Not to mention that he’s also currently on tour with his multi-talented sister, Billie Eilish. With his success consistently climbing and his fanbase steadily increasing, it’s no surprise that his music – namely his recent single “Landmine“- caught the attention of up and coming producer, Aire Atlantica.

Springing off of the momentum he received from his last release, “Cut You Off,” the NY-native decides to provide his own take on FINNEAS’ upbeat pop original. The remix however, is not for the faint of heart. Aire Atlantica reels listeners in almost instantly with energizing snares that pave the way for a cinematic build up right before he introduces the main course, an amalgamation of electrifying glitches, funk-inspired beats and harmonic layers. His eclectic style of production makes for an unparalleled chemistry with FINNEAS’ modulated voice as it molds effortlessly around every word. Emitting just as much heat as this season’s sun, it goes without saying that Aire’s remix will be one of your go-to plays this Summer.

The Indigo Project – As Always [TMN VIDEO PREMIERE]

The Indigo Project
As Always

Coming hot off a string of successful shows, including Live at Leeds, Yorkshire-based The Indigo Project have something to tide fans over until their next tour.

“As Always,” their first single of 2018, has been making waves for the past month or so, leading the way to cheering fans across the UK this spring. Anthemic in nature, it sizzles with eccentric guitar work, equal parts booming and splashy percussion, and a delightfully raucous chorus. It’s energetic and infectious — the type of tune you can picture yourself screaming at the top of your lungs in a rowdy, humid venue.

The accompanying video, which we’re premiering here today, showcases a Day in the Life-style story, interspersed with live-action shots of Joe Spink (Frontman), Oliver Barry (guitar), Alex Crow (bass), Tony Francis (guitar) and Jack Manktelow (drums). It’s the perfect visualization, according to the band:

A teenage tale of love and loss, “As Always” is about knowing that someone will always come back to you even if it really isn’t good for you
