Escape (Feat. Aubren Elaine)

Someone who is always in the dojo is PatrickReza. He’s a certified favorite of ours, and every release he amazes us with what he has put together. His newest song, “Escape” with Aubren Elaine, keeps up his streak.

“Escape” was written by the two creators after Patrick graduated from college and took a Summer trip to get away. The fitting title and lyrics urge us to get out of our comfort zone and really live. Not only are the lyrics and Aubren’s performance powerful, but we feel everything these two want to express in the music behind the words. The original certainly has that Summer time vibe, with its wavy synths and upbeat attitude. Patrick is one of the strongest producers out right now. He’s not stopping any time soon. You can be sure another big tune will come out of his studio soon, but for now you get this superb free download.

Sorry (PatrickReza Dubstep Remix)

Some people have been waiting a while for our friend PatrickReza to deliver one of his classic dubstep tracks. Today, we’re happy to premiere a song of such character with his remix of “Sorry” by Justin Bieber. His melodic rendering of the highly popular single is sure to satisfy fans old and new. It’s been a refreshing experience for Patrick himself, who has been dealing out some quality house records for a year now. It just goes to show this cat’s versatility when it comes to songwriting, and he further establishes himself as a strong and unique force in the dance music scene. This is the kind of work that gets heard by the original artist, and gets some love and support, maybe even to the point of a re-release as an official flip. If that ends up happening, don’t be surprised. Besides this being a phenomenal remix, Patrick released it as a free download, which you can grab here.

As usual to end the week, we have some free downloads for you. Not only are they just any free downloads, but some of the best from the week, ranging from the soft to the hard. However, even if they’re on the chiller side, that doesn’t mean they’re not party tracks, because that’s what this weekly playlist is all about, isn’t it? As you go through these twelve singles, your ears will thank you, but who should really be thanked are the producers who put these tracks together like Lost Kings, Debroka, Jayceeoh, Taylor Thomas, Patrick Reza, NIGHTOWLS and the many others who had a hand in making these tracks great. We cap it off with my personal favorite of the bunch, a collaboration from youngster Tucker Kreway and QUEST. We’ll leave you to it; do as you wish with them, but make sure always to #danceirresponsibly.

[House] Rihanna – BBHMM (PatrickReza Remix)

Rihanna
BBHMM (PatrickReza Remix)

The #WompSquad leader just added another strong remix to his catalog. PatrickReza is back with a remix of Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” although the producer switched up the title in acronym form. This house bump he’s been on has been magical, and we’re glad it hasn’t stopped. As with the other tracks, Patrick brings his dirty fusion style that will bring all sorts of house heads together. This is certainly one of the better remixes of the Rihanna single, which isn’t really all that surprising given Patrick’s talent. Although I can’t speak for all the ninja’s, I’d fair to say it’s my personal favorite out of the bunch of interpretations that have come out. Want the track but don’t want to pay anything? It’s all good, because this flip is a freebie.

Los Angeles’ Patrick Reza keeps the house tracks rolling with his new original called “BOUNCE!.” Featuring Abhi The Nomad, “BOUNCE!” is a dirty electro beast that takes some influence from deeper styles of the four-to-the-floor umbrella genre. Patrick flexes his sound design muscles in a big way, and even throws in a cut time drop in the second half, tipping his hat to his previous bass style that he dominated. Now, his domain has been spreading and he’s established himself as one of the premiere up and comer producers in the scene right now. [House] PatrickReza & Maya Payne – If Only (Remix)

If Only (Remix)

Patrick Reza already did work on the bass music game with several tracks like his remix of “Tom Ford” and “Clocktower.” However, his past few releases have been on the house side of the fence, and so is his latest track. Another remix, this time of “If Only” by Maya Payne, was produced for all the party people out there. His production takes from future and electro house to form a song that is going to be holding down festival crowds for months to come. With the introduction we get a sense that things are going to venture pretty deep, but Patrick knocks up the energy instead of playing it cool and classy 100%. On this one you can let loose. The producer’s versatility is expanding, with any sort of sound being up for grabs when he grinds away in the studio. “If Only” was released today as a free download, so head here if you want to add it to your library.

Get Low (PatrickReza Remix) (Free Download)

Don’t sit there and say you don’t the words to “Get Low.” Whether we like to admit it or not, it’s a Lil Jon standard, and Patrick Reza just unapologetically brought it back into 2015 as a bone crushing house rendition. The raspy vocals of Lil Jon and Ying Yang Twins are right at home with the rage worthy lasers and festival ready production, especially considering Lil Jon’s recent work with DJ Snake that we are all too familiar with. Patrick has been on a roll with these last two reimaginations of hip-hop tunes, and this revamped version of “Get Low” is hump day remedy that you need to jump back into the right gear and finish up your week strong.
