Not only are you given the usual batch of free records, but we also are providing you with an hour of extra tunes thanks to Carter Cruise, who released the fifth edition of her Cruise Control mix today. Said The Sky always kills it. No matter if it’s with an original, or remix like we have today. His musical ability and knowledge surpasses most producers, which is why ATB tapped this Colorado cat for a remix of “Flash X.” As with many of his tracks, Said The Sky creates a landscape of his unique trap sound, while also brings into play his piano prowess. Emotion is key in his works, and this remix has a ton of feels packed tightly inside it that you experience from beginning to end.

“Flash X” in its new form is a soothing record that has the energy shifted from the “hands-up” style of music, to a much more intimate sound. His composition pierces deep into your soul with mystifying melodies and courageous chords. The introduction is a hit in itself, then moves through short tasteful build into the heart of the song. After the drop, we are met with something that simply can’t be expressed in words. You must lend your ears to this wonderful piece of music, and if you haven’t already ran through Said The Sky’s Soundcloud, then you’re in for something special.

Said The Sky and Missio make quite the match. They came together for “Darling,” which is seriously one of the most beautiful songs that your ears can be exposed to, and now they’re back with “Nostalgia.” With this original, which was released as a free download, they bring a super soft soundscape that slowly builds the anticipation for one single “drop” that is a powerful explosion of heavenly energy. It blurs the line between future and trap, with smooth synths that will soothe your ears the exact moment they come through the speakers. As always, Said The Sky delivered a magnificent record. This year has been huge for him, but I think next year is going to be the year he really makes a break to the top of the music world.

Another week, another batch of a dozen party poppin’ records. This week’s playlist has a fair batch of bass music mixed with house, with the former coming first. Twerk, trap and dubstep take over just over half of the playlist, with tracks from Meaux Green, Jayceeoh, ATLiens, along with a single called “Not This Time” that features the talented vocalist Aloma Steele. During the second half, groove to the boisterous beats from Contrvbvnd, Halfway House, Lost Kings and more. Stay safe tonight and tomorrow when you are getting rid of all the stress from the week. We know Said The Sky from his stellar productions, but did you know he’s also a pianist? Makes sense, given the extensive use of the instrument in his works. His last release was the original song “Darling” with Missio that has gotten new treatment as a thank you gift for fans. The immense love that was received by Said The Sky prompted him to make a VIP version of the track that could be played live by an ensemble. His acoustically driven electronic creation may be even more emotive than the original, but we’ll leave that up to you to decide. In extending the piano from the original into a full length track with accompanying elements, Said The Sky flexed his song writing abilities to us in a new way. His newest original, featuring Missio, will put you in a trance with its sensual future sound. Seriously, this is one of the most magnificent things you are going to hear this year, guaranteed. Said The Sky is always able to deliver powerful music like no other, and in his relatively short career so far he has been able to woo listeners all over the world.
