[Future] I.Y.F.F.E X Thai – So High (feat. Wiktoria Kolosowa)

I.Y.F.F.E X Thai
So High (feat. Wiktoria Kolosowa)

I.Y.F.F.E makes his return to Uprise Music, this time with the Brazilian producer Thai. Not only does he kick it into high gear with the South American, but the two enlist Wiktoria Kolosowa to hop on the vocals for the exceptionally engaging record.

“So High” will make you feel just that. It’s an uplifting future bass record, but it’s not just a simple, straightforward rendition of the genre. I.Y.F.F.E and Thai really make it their own, while Wiktoria’s performance on the song adds a whole other dimension of beauty on top of what the producers have created together. It’s not the world’s longest record, as it comes in at just barely over three minutes, but that three minutes feels like a lifetime as “So High” intoxicates your soul. It’s a dope one and it’s out now as a free download.

[Electro] Jameston Thieves – Cookie Butter EP

Two of our favorite camps have come together on an EP that is just out of this world. The EP is Cookie Butter by the astonishingly talented Jameston Thieves who got Uprise Music to back this project. There are lots of notable producers out there making big bucks, but few, if any, come close to JT.

With Cookie Butter we get four singles, including a collaboration with Aaron Jackson and Megan Hamilton. Together these three kick off the EP with “Wonder,” a dynamic single whose composition shifts shape throughout the entire song. It’s like a whole bunch of good songs in one, which the same can be said for “Circadian Rhythm.” If by now you haven’t noticed that JT’s sound design is absolutely maddening then “Shottahs” will take care of you. Lastly, “Back In It” is what may be the most wacky song on the project. It’s a fun listen, even by Jameston Thieve’s standards. Cookie Butter is now available on digital services, so grab it!

[House] Jace Mek – What If

Jace Mek
What If

We’re going to start this post off by letting you know that Jace Mek is as dope as they come. I’ve personally had the pleasure of seeing this young man grow as a producer, and his success is highly deserved. In fact, he deserves much more than he has, but he’s growing well and he’s not even 20 yet, so there’s no need for us to fret.

The latest step in that growth is the release of “What If” by Uprise Music. Jace is not your average producer; nothing about his music is average. “What If” is no exception, as its unique, deep style mixes styles with perfection while keeping in Jace’s unusual signature. Fans get to following, industry figures get to booking, because Jace Mek is where it’s at. Like we stated previously, Uprise dropped this one, so make sure to get the free download. You read that right: free.

Hell Hound

Ready for some headbanging beats? If you are, then I.Y.F.F.E and TYNVN have you covered with their single “Hell Hound.” This bass-booming original was released through our good friends over at Uprise Music.

When Uprise releases a track, you never know exactly what you are in for, you just know you’re getting something dope. “Hell Hound” isn’t just dope, it’s terrifying. It’s in your face, brutish and totally awesome. The sound design is completely bonkers, and the heavy nature of the tune makes it a dance-floor bomb that will leave any venue in ruin. Together, I.Y.F.F.E and TYNVN put on a sonic spectacle that only gets better as it progresses. If you or your friend is a DJ, this is a must have. Luckily, it’s out in full available for purchase through Beatport. Don’t sleep on this one.

[Music Video] ENV – Your Love feat. Little Nikki

Earlier this week ENV dished out a single through Uprise Music. “Your Love” featuring Little Nikki was the tune, but it’s not just the tune we’re going to be talking about today. In conjunction with the audio, the crew put together a fun little music video.

“Your Love” is a spunky club record whose deep, groovy vibes will get your body shaking. It’s a strong melodic record that both parties involved did an amazing job with. As for the music video, it’s equally as lively as the tune. The viewer gets taken on a wild ride through a carnival, as well as a rave as the relationship between a couple unfolds. Bright lights, lots of cuts and exciting imagery, this is one solid video. It has a lot of elements that other videos have, but they managed to keep it fresh and alluring.

[Dubstep] Dirtystack – Shotgun (Feat. Tima Dee)

Shotgun (Feat. Tima Dee)

Uprise Music just doesn’t stop releasing high-quality tunes from talented up and comers. Their latest single comes from the Texan beatsmith Dirtystack. “Shotgun” is a heavy one, but Tima Dee lighten things up with her magnificent vocal performance.

Dirtystack wasn’t a name that was familiar to us, but after hearing “Shotgun” he has quickly jumped high on our list of bass-peddlers. We’re not the only ones, as Excision has supported this record, and that’s saying something as he is one of the biggest names in dubstep. Not only that, but the support is through his signature Shambhala mix. Pretty high praise if you ask us. Dirtystack and Tima deserve it, as they put together an awesome record. Every little detail is on-point. This can be said for all of Dirtystacks tracks. Once you go through his Soundcloud, you’ll realize this dude is the not to be taken lightly. Some serious damage can be done if Dirtystack keeps up with these great releases. For now, we have “Shotgun,” so stream it and more importantly, buy it off Beatport.
