[Dubstep] Oolacile – Embers EP

Headbangers unite under Oolacile‘s Embers. Released on Disciple, this EP sees the bass-slinging producer go all out after dropping several singles over the past year. It’s not since the Humanity EP at the end of 2016 that we’ve seen Oolacile come full force with an extended project.

Embers is complete with five singles including a collaboration with Samplifire. You may be wondering why there’s only four tracks here and you can thank Soundcloud’s problematic identification process that has taken down an original song. Good thing is – the entire EP is available to stream or purchase on digital platforms. The EP is well worth the purchase price if you’re still into growing your library as it’s got just the right ferocious sound you need to keep up the heat as the weather gets colder.

’Oolacile – Bandwagon’
’Oolacile – Otog’
’Oolacile – Space Suit’
’Oolacile & Samplifire – Alduin’

[Multi-Genre] um.. do it for the kids Remix EP

If you were to ask us if we were ready for a remix EP from um.. our response would likely be, “Um.. yes!” That’s just what we got several days ago from them that consists of eight total remixes. Below we share with you four of our favorites, but make sure to head over to iTunes to check them all out and get a copy of the remix EP, do it for the kids.

We’re going to dive right in with one of the heaviest remixes on the project which comes from the recent Disciple signee, Oolacile. This track is not only dope, but it is just another example of the producer’s unique style and talent when it comes to designing sounds. Noer The Boy kicks up a gangster flip that is one of the biggest standout tracks on the project, no matter if you’re a fan of bass music or not. Holly’s been on a collab terror right now, but focuses in himself on this remix to deliver something big that’s outside his usual arena. Lastly, we close things out with Dack Janiels, who brings another heavy set of low frequencies whose grimy textures are irresistible.

Like we said before, what we have presented is only half of the remix EP! Hit up Soundcloud, or iTunes to check out the full project, which is complete with tunes from ESQ, Elephunk, X&G and MNX.

’u kno? (oolacile remix)’
’do it for the kids (noer the boy remix)’
’u kno? (holly remix)’
’try harder (dack janiels remix)’

[Dubstep] Oolacile – Expansion EP

Let’s get one thing straight. Dubstep isn’t dead, and it never died. It may not be as hype as it once was, but that all can change very quickly. Currently, it’s making somewhat of a comeback, thanks to some veterans as well as some newer artists like Oolacile. This talented bass-head recently came out with his Expansion EP on SMOG Records, and I’m here to tell you, it’s heavy. Like, REALLY heavy.

Althought Oolacile is the mastermind behind the project, the Expansion EP has its features including label head 12th Planet, Jumanji, MurDa, Savory and Boogie T. From start to finish, this EP is jam-packed to the brim with as much low frequency energy as you can handle. Oolacile moves between classic dub, riddim and the newer fashions of the genre with ease, yet he always has his own flavor on it. I’m not surprised in the slightest that SMOG picked this one up, and that its lead man wanted to collaborate with the up and comer. His focus on sound design and rhythm is something that really shines in this project, and will continue to do so as his career progresses. Take note, Oolacile is here to stay. Grab Expansion now!

’Oolacile – Crooked’
’Oolacile – Creepers Ft. 12th Planet & Jumanji’
’Oolacile – Expansion’
’Oolacile – Manipulator’
’Oolacile, MurDa – Imposter’
’Oolacile – Instigate Ft. Savory’
’Oolacile – No Ft. Boogie T’
