[Progressive] Jaymes Young – I’ll Be Good (LYNOS Remix)

Jaymes Young
I'll Be Good (LYNOS Remix)

LYNOS has a love of infectious melodies and epic drops, as shown in his previous remixes. This time around, the LA-based producer puts his own spin on Jaymes Young‘s “I’ll Be Good”, and the result is phenomenal. Bits of pieces of the original are kept to retain the organic sound of the track, including Jaymes’ sexy vocals and guitar fills. The massive drop steals the spotlight, as heard from a series of bold synths and drums. LYNOS wanted to bring out the powerful message behind the lyrics to the song by using hard synths while keeping the folk elements of it. It’s one of those tunes that could up your adrenaline level a few notches.

It’s once again proven that LYNOS is the future of the electro-pop/progressive scene. Make sure to keep him on your radar, as we’re very excited to see where his music takes him.

[Progressive House] Smallpools – Karaoke (Halogen Remix)

Smallpools
Karaoke (Halogen Remix)

Alex Dunsker & Josh Taylor of Atlanta make up the house duo Halogen, who have a new remix to share. Halogen had their turn at “Karaoke,” a single off Smallpools’ debut album LOVETAP!, and released it for free a few days ago.

“Karaoke” was flipped for the Summertime adventures that are just starting to be had. Soaring melodies lift the song to astral levels, and with such a big sound you can’t help but to think this would explode in a festival setting. The duo’s sites had to be on that for this, and if they weren’t, they pulled off a whopping record regardless. Get your free copy, and if you’re a fan of indie/alternative, then check out the original.

Juno Reactor – Tempest (Zeologic Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Juno Reactor
Tempest (Zeologic Remix)

Serbian producer Zeologic pumps up the dark energy with an official remix of “Tempest” by Juno Reactor. Seven minutes of heart-pounding trance is what makes the fifth remix out of nine that will be on The Golden Sun Remixed. Although this song is due out on June 5th, us ninjas have the opportunity to share it with you early with a premiere.

“Tempest” was the perfect song for Zeologic to remix, as its misty qualities translate well into the style of choice. The underground edge was kept alive, and the Belgrade beatmaker ran with it, pulling off a stunning display of musical savvy. Juno Reactor’s original was done justice, and soon it will be available for you to keep. All of the remixes are up for pre-order for those who would like to secure a copy.

Reece Low – Break (Kronic & Chris Porter Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Reece Low
Break (Kronic & Chris Porter Remix)

Kronic and Chris Porter partnered up for a remix of “Break” that will bust your speakers open. The Reece Low original got twerked out into a ratchet rave gem that we couldn’t pass up premiering. Great twerk just can’t be refused. Especially when it’s the time of year when the rage tracks come bustling out of producer’s studios. The newly formed “Break” is one of the best party tunes you’ll get in the midtempo range, bringing energy as though it were much higher in beats per minute. This one goes out to all the ladies out there with big booties; please drop them down low when this gets played. We don’t discriminate, guys, if you got the badonkadonk, drop it to the floor too.
