[Electronic] Coleman Hell – 2 Heads (Vanic Remix)

Coleman Hell
2 Heads (Vanic Remix)

Vanic essentially has reached the status of a household name because of his vibrant renditions of great artists like Tove Styrke, Zella Day, and plenty others. His continued mastery of reshaping pop and alternative into a palatable and relentlessly upbeat formula is one to be enjoyed on the best of days and at the best of times.

The sound he’s created translates well to a festival atmosphere, as each new creation calls equally on energy and emotion while being wrapped up cleanly into an attractive package. There’s no shortage of melodic elements here, and Vanic has prided himself on keeping things bright and enjoyable ever since he started. This take on Coleman Hell upholds his precedent with ease, and we are lucky enough to get to ring in Daylight Savings and longer days with a hefty dose of melodic power courtesy of Vanic.

Grandtheft – Summer In The Winter (Champagne Drip Remix) [feat. Fantastic Modern] [TMN PREMIERE]

Grandtheft
Summer In The Winter (Champagne Drip Remix)[feat. Fantastic Modern]

Mad Decent always knows how to put together a stellar remix EP, and their latest collection of talent stems from Grandtheft and his Quit This City project. The last time we heard from Champagne Drip, we had the chance to discuss cereal and other ridiculous things, so needless to say, we’re excited for the chance to premiere his newest release and massive contribution to this EP.

The remix starts off in typical Champagne Drip fashion, bobbing and weaving with a woozy groove that feels like you’re exploring a neon coral reef until it ratchets up the intensity as Mad Decent releases are ought to do. Pulling together elements of indie electronic, future, and even a slight bit of synthwave, this remix chalks up another win for the always interesting Champagne Drip, who’s signature mix of the aforementioned influences is washed with a sense of wonder throughout. Don’t miss out the free download!

IVARR & Ma-Less – ASS (Original Mix) [TMN Premiere]

IVARR & Ma-less
ASS (Original Mix)

We recently came across a tweet that stated that dating in the music industry is an oxymoron. If that’s true, then IVARR & Ma-Less are breaking the mold. Moreover, they’re breaking the mold with their incredible music, separately, and now together with “ASS.” “ASS” is a bubbly original that we had to get our hands on for a premiere. The track has strong jungle sensibilities that can’t be ignored, especially with producers moving towards breakbeat style records. IVARR and Ma-Less got that game on lock.

With “ASS” we get a party-centric record that will get all the booties shaking. Both these producers know how to get a party started as DJs, so you could expect their productions to do the same. The two creators don’t do a whole lot with the record, letting the minimal melodies speak for themselves along the bustling kick patterns. The playful percussion and varied sounds that come in fill out the sonic picture with the right amount of flare to make this one a grade A record. Although literal ass is not really free, this “ASS” is, so download it!
